today i got hardly anything done all i did was practise sketchup because the internet is really slow and the tutorial was not working i hope that next lesson i can get more done.

Today was our first lessons with Ms.Castro. We have now changed subjects and now we are doing a sketchup. Today i watched 1 tutorial my computer kept on going off and the enternet was REALLY slow. I think that this is going to be really fun and interesting because i have never done sketchup before and i am already learnt SO much! next lesson i am going to continue to watch the tutuorials and learn more about sketchup. I think for my final one i am going to make a mantion or something like that!

today was not a very productive day because i only got pictures. It is a bit hard to find pictures of Captian James cook. next lesson i still have to find more pictures today i only found about 10 pictures and got some information about him.

reflection on my photo story

what did i like about my photo story?

I really enjoyed making my photo story. The thing i liked most was actually creating it and finding the images to put on it. i really liked the way my photo story turned out.


what don't i like about my photo story?

i didnt like the music i used i would have prefered to have had my own music on it. i also dont really like some of my photos that i used!


What would you do differently?

if i were to do another photo story i would put on more pictures on it. i would have also taken more time and effort to make it as good as i could.


How can it be improved?

I can improve it by putting more pictures on it and changing some pictures!

4th october

today i downloaded my photostory it took a little bit of time but it was wo0rth it! ms Dietrich tought me then how to put it on my blog. so now i have it on my blog site and i think it is so cool!! Ms. Dietrich then told us that we have to make a new photo story about an explorer so i looked on the internet about pictures of explorers. i still dont really know who i am going to do, its between Vasco de Gama and Captian Cook.

today i sighned up to photo bucket and tried to put my photo story on there but it actually didnt work. I tried doing it again but it stilol didnt work. Ms. Dietrch tried helping me but it just wasnt working, next lesson i hope we cvan find a sulution.

investigate- what is image hosting

image hosting is a place to go were you can upload your images. it then uploads your images and puts it on a wensite and then everybody can see them. It is really simple most of the time it is free.

What is a Storyboard???

a story board is a place that you can plan out your story in two different areas. The first area is time which is what happens first in the middle and last . The second one is how the voicemaker join in with your story and that makes it flow. So really a storyboard is a place to go to plan out a movie or a book or something like that.

Today was a very sucsessful day. Today we learnt how to use photostory. Ms Dietrich showed us a tutorial and it really mad scence after that.

Then Ms. Dietrich told us to practise by making our own one. It was so fun making it and it was also really easy. Now i really understand how to do it.

there are lots of different programs you can use for digital storytelling such as:
Movie Maker, Windows and graphic converter.
