No. the internet and the world wide web are not the same thing. The internet is and internation network of computers. It is so people can share information for everybody all over the world.
And the owlrd Wide Web is a group of web pages. The pages are joined together to make a web of information that everybody can see.

**29.09.2008**
today i worked really hard and i actually finished my whole worrk really quikly and now i really understand what HTML and SOURCE CODE is. It was a really good idea doing this work because it really helped me to understand what it is!! Next lesson i hope to continue doing well with my work and undertanding everything because if i don´t then it will be very difficult to actually make my own MILEY CYRUS page! i´m really excited to continue doing my work and hopefully we can start the fun stuff!! <3

HTML is a markup language for web pages it is a type of code that most web pages have that have pictures and hyper links.
2. What was life like before HTML?
before HTML existed there was no way to advertise web pages.

The person who invented HTML was not a computer expert but he was Physicist. He was actually working at the European laboratory for Particle Physics. His name was Tim Berners-Lee. He wanted to create a way for researches to be able to use the internet to collaborate and share ideas.

TODAY I DID THE TEST ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE INTERNET BUT ONLY GOT 6/10 SO NEXT LESSON I HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN!
I ALSO DID A TUTORIAL ABOUT THE HTML AND IT WAS REALLY COOL! I CAN´T BELIEVE WE HAVE TO MAKE A WHOLE WEBPAGE WITH THAT IT IS GOING TO TAKE SO LONG! BUT THATS WHAT WE HAVE TO DO TO LEARN ABOUT IT!
